Aquaculture Innovation Workshops (AIW) provides an opportunity for aquaculture producers, scientists, engineers, aquaculture industry suppliers, regulators and investors to communicate progress on the technical, biological and economic feasibility of culturing fish – particularly salmon – to post-smolt or market size in closed-containment systems using floating or recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology. These international summits have been hosted by The Conservation Fund's Freshwater Institute, Tides Canada, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the Atlantic Salmon Federation.

Chris Good, D.V.M, Ph.D., Director of Aquatic Veterinary Research at the Freshwater Institute, will present the Water Quality Workshop along with Dr. Claude Boyd of Auburn University.
