The Conservation Fund is your best investment for protecting America’s land and water legacy. With our partners and supporters, we’ve protected more than 7 million acres across the country. We put an average of 96% of our budget directly into conservation programs and just 1% into fundraising.
Our work is made possible with generous support from individuals, foundations, corporations and government agencies. Our commitment to accountability and donor transparency remains a cornerstone of our operations. We never sell donor information, nor do we make our donor list available to anyone outside the organization.
Our financial and tax forms are available as PDF downloads:
For eight years, we maintained a four star rating with Charity Navigator. In fact, we were named one of Charity Navigator’s Top Ten Charities in celebration of their 10th Anniversary. This year, we were awarded three stars. What changed? Over the last few years, we have seized on some truly extraordinary opportunities to save a tremendous amount of land. In doing so our revenue growth and program expense growth—two aspects that Charity Navigator measures—have fluctuated to reflect these extraordinary years.
What has never changed? Our effectiveness is a hallmark of who we are. It is fundamental to our character and demonstrated each year in our results.
