Scott M. Tsukuda

Director of Operations, Freshwater Institute


Scott TsukudaScott’s responsibilities for the Freshwater Institute include research on energy monitoring and auditing. He has worked with the Freshwater Institute since 1996, originally starting as a research associate.

Some of his past work has included MS Excel computer modeling, PLC programming, denitrification technologies and alternative waste treatment systems demonstration. He is a member of the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Scott holds a Master’s of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering and a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Cornell University. He has past certifications as a  Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and he is currently Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
