Sally Manikian

Vermont and New Hampshire Representative


Sally-205x250Sally Manikian is the Fund’s Vermont and New Hampshire Representative, based in Gorham, NH. A New Hampshire native, Sally lives in service to the mountains, forests, and communities of the Northern Forest.

Prior to joining the Fund in 2016, Sally managed a trails stewardship program for the Appalachian Mountain Club in the White Mountain National Forest and Maine’s Bureau of Parks and Lands. She also innovated a grassroots community project in Berlin, NH that brought together a unique group of local artists, at-risk-youth programs, motorized and non-motorized trail clubs, and the City to develop a management plan for a local summit. When not working or caring for her disabled brother and sister, she is found on trails with her racing sled dog team.

Sally is a graduate of Phillips Academy Andover, Trinity College Dublin and holds an MScEcon from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
