Minnesota Associate,Conservation Acquisition
Emilee joined the Conservation Fund in 2015 with previous experience working for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Pheasants Forever. Emilee works primarily in the prairie pothole region on projects that benefit grasslands and local grass-based economies. Her current focus includes working with ranchers to increase available grasslands for grazing operations, as well as developing unique grassland and wetland protection strategies with conservation teams in western Minnesota.
Prior to her work in the conservation field, Emilee graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a B.S. in Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology. She is a Minnesota native and enjoys ice fishing, snowboarding, golf, and archery hunting.
