Curtis CrouseCurtis is responsible for maintaining daily fish husbandry and care, participating in all fish harvesting, sampling and moving events, and training interns in aquaculture production.

Curtis has had a rich career in aquaculture, working with a wide variety of marine species, from those in ponds and cages to full recirculating systems.

Curtis earned an M.S. in Zoology from Southern Illinois University in 2012, where his thesis explored feeding strategies for cultured fish and investigated ways to minimize environmental contaminants and maximize the transfer of beneficial lipids. In 2008, Curtis earned a B.S. in Animal and Avian Sciences from the University of Maryland.
