Amplify Your Giving Tuesday Impact!

Still stuffed from Thanksgiving? Overwhelmed by searching for that perfect gift? Today is a great day to spend some time outdoors and remember what inspires you about nature. That way you’ll be reenergized and ready to make a difference on Giving Tuesday. We’re honoring the 10th anniversary of the Giving Tuesday movement with a special opportunity for our online donors – find out more!

Before the Thanksgiving leftovers have all been eaten, we are inundated with the deals and frenzy of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. To help balance out the big shopping days around the holidays, we look forward to Giving Tuesday — a day that encourages people to do good and give back.

Since its inception in 2012, Giving Tuesday has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. And despite the economic uncertainty of the last few years, people still feel inspired to give — in fact, in the United States, Giving Tuesday donations increased by 9 percent in 2021, with $2.7 billion raised by Americans.

The Conservation Fund has also seen an increase in Giving Tuesday participation over the years. We raised $3,000 the first year we participated in Giving Tuesday, and we remain very grateful to our generous donors who exceeded all our expectations and contributed $100,000 last year!

To keep the momentum going and to honor the 10th year of Giving Tuesday, a generous group of our board members and individual donors have committed to match all online gifts from November 27, 2022, through midnight on November 30, 2022!

These match sponsors believe in The Conservation Fund’s important mission and they’re willing to help double your Giving Tuesday online gift.

I’ve been involved with The Conservation for years and serve actively on its board. I support The Conservation Fund because, across the country, the organization helps craft sustainable land use solutions that deliver both economic benefits and positive environmental outcomes to local communities. I love knowing that my support delivers this dual outcome and hope you will to. It is vitally important to support the work of the Fund which is why I am sponsoring the Giving Tuesday match. Giving Tuesday is a day of global giving, and I am ready to help amplify the generosity of The Conservation Fund’s many supporters!”

Everyone should experience the happiness of giving to heartfelt and worthwhile causes that benefit the natural environment and our society, especially on Giving Tuesday. This is the reason why we invest in The Conservation Fund’s work; we find great joy in helping support the efforts to keep our country ‘America the Beautiful.’ Since its inception in 1985, The Conservation Fund has been renowned for the creative partnership work it does throughout the United States to benefit and protect natural resources. We know that our support will be effectively utilized to help conserve our nation’s outstanding landscapes and communities. We are pleased to support The Conservation Fund on Giving Tuesday and we encourage others to join The Conservation Fund’s efforts this year! In doing so, you will help protect America’s natural resources from sea to shining sea.”
