Jolie Krasinski

Regional Director of Fundraising, Midwest


Jolie informs and inspires investment in conservation across the Midwest, securing resources for the Fund’s expanding portfolio of projects and programs in 12 states.

She has over 20 years of experience as a funder and fundraiser in the Great Lakes region. Before joining the Fund, Jolie’s consulting business connected donors to transformational funding opportunities. Holding a certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Illinois Chicago, she has worked with government agencies, nonprofits, and foundations on strengthening their human and financial capital. Previously, Jolie ran the Natural Areas Program at Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation for 12 years. There she led a major expansion of the institution’s giving for land acquisition and developed four new grant programs to support community-led conservation. As Project Development Manager at the Great Lakes Protection Fund, Jolie designed investments in multi-disciplinary, international teams that improved the health of the Great Lakes ecosystem.

Jolie holds a B.S. in Agriculture from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.A. in Public Affairs and Policy Analysis from the LaFollette School of Public Affairs at University of Wisconsin — Madison. She is based in Evanston, IL (Chicago). In her free time, Jolie enjoys making pasta and wine with her relatives and camping and hiking with her family.
