Guenevere Abernathy

State Director, North Carolina, Conservation Acquisition

Guenevere joined the Fund in the fall of 2023. Her role is to lead the real estate acquisition team in North Carolina and work with our partners across the state.

Before joining the Fund, Guenevere worked in land conservation for over 15 years. She has also launched several start ups of her own.

Guenevere lives in Durham, NC with her family. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, paddling and gardening.
