Alaska State Associate, Conservation Acquisition

Chris LittleChris is the Fund’s Alaska Conservation Acquisitions and Program Associate. Joining the Fund’s staff in 2013, Chris has in-depth understanding and experience with compensatory wetland mitigation and conservation real estate transactions and finance. Chris has led successful collaborative conservation projects with public agency, non-profit and corporate partners throughout Alaska.

Prior to coming to Alaska, he worked as a preserve manager for The Nature Conservancy in east Idaho, wildlife biologist on the California Channel Islands, and forester for the California State Parks in Lake Tahoe.

Chris has a B.A. in environmental science and anthropology from Saint Lawrence University and a M.S. in Recreation Resource Management from Oregon State's College of Forestry.
