A step in restoring justice

Justice is one of the hallmarks of a free society. In its absence, citizens lose faith in the ability of government to represent their interests and maintain a society rooted in equality. As we watched the video of George Floyd’s passing it was painfully obvious that an imbalanced justice system has historically left communities of color without confidence in our shared institutions. With today’s decision we have taken a step to restore that confidence.

It’s only when justice extends to the disenfranchised that we can live up to the spirit of American ideals—that all men are created equal. Justice is a shared asset, and it’s the responsibility of each citizen to care for and ensure its viability. As members of the environmental community we recognize the significance of this decision and are committed to uncover, highlight and address the inequities in our industry.
