Pamela Nelson

Northwest Arkansas Program Manager

Pam Nelson joined the Conservation Fund in 2025 with nearly a decade of experience in land protection and conservation partnerships. In her role, she works to provide a patient pathway to affordable land ownership for farms that are interested in growing their farm business and permanently protecting their farm property.

Prior to joining The Conservation Fund, Pam was the Director of Land Protection at the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust where she negotiated conservation easements, managed land acquisitions, built trusted relationships with governments and communities and secured significant public and private funding. Her previous work also included supporting NRCS conservation easement programs with Ducks Unlimited and leading education and outreach initiatives in the environmental sector. Pam brings skills in GIS and conservation planning, with a career dedicated to protecting natural landscapes and advancing sustainable land use.
