Sean McNealy

Sean is the Foundation Relations Manager, Midwest, working within the Strategic Giving team to cultivate and steward relationships with foundation partners, submit grant proposals, and support fundraising efforts throughout the Midwest.

Before joining The Conservation Fund, Sean served as a Foundation Relations Officer with the Environmental Law & Policy Center in Chicago for three years. He started his development career as the Grants and Communications Associate at St. Marcus School in Milwaukee, and prior to that was a Communications Intern with the Forest Preserves of Cook County. Sean holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Missouri — one in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences and another in Science and Agricultural Journalism. He also holds a master’s degree in Journalism from DePaul University.

In his free time, Sean enjoys exploring Milwaukee and Chicago’s vibrant neighborhoods, walking along the lakefront, and visiting with family and friends.
