Business Systems and Salesforce Administrator

Joseph Ponte joined The Conservation Fund’s Information Technology team in 2026 as a Salesforce Administrator. In this role, Joseph supports the organization’s mission by managing and optimizing Salesforce to improve data integrity, streamline processes, and enhance user experience. He partners with teams across the organization to develop scalable solutions, support system enhancements, and ensure Salesforce effectively supports conservation initiatives.

Prior to joining The Conservation Fund, Joseph built a strong foundation in Salesforce administration and business systems support at Naviant, earning multiple Salesforce certifications including Administrator and Advanced Administrator, as well as specialized credentials in Data Cloud and Net Zero Cloud, Salesforce’s sustainability platform. His experience includes configuring and maintaining Salesforce environments, building automation, improving data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. He is passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficiency and meaningful impact, particularly in mission-driven organizations.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys staying active and social, whether through sports like rugby or salsa dancing at various socials. Having recently relocated to Washington, D.C., he values opportunities to connect with others and stay engaged in his new community.
