Marla Collum

Marla Collum is the Property Manager at Oak Hill, James Monroe’s historic farm property in Aldie, Virginia. She oversees the 1,200-acre farm, tenant properties, and preservation of the 1822 National Historic Landmark residence.

Marla holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to joining the Conservation Fund, Marla held previous roles with the National Park Service, National Recreation and Park Association, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the City of Detroit Planning and Development Department.
