Scott Tsukuda is the Director of Operations at the Freshwater Institute. He is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of facility infrastructure and contributes to ongoing research. His interest areas include energy efficiency, control and monitoring systems, and computing technologies.  Scott has worked on a variety of projects including PLC programming, denitrification research, energy audits, and alternative waste treatment systems demonstration. He holds a Master of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Cornell University. Scott is also a Certified Energy Manager.
