Austin Wilson

Faith & Food Coordinator

Austin Wilson 205x250
Austin supports our work focused on the intersection of faith, food and local economies in some of North Carolina’s most economically-distressed communities. He helps rural churches deepen their food ministries and strengthen community engagement through innovative partnerships and community projects. Rural churches bring a range of resources to local challenges—land, willing volunteers, commercial kitchens and more.

Austin brings his experience working both in faith communities and sustainable agriculture. He recently received his M.Div from Duke Divinity School, where he served with organizations combining faith-based hunger relief efforts with local agriculture.
