Aquaculture Innovation Workshops (AIW) provides an opportunity for aquaculture producers, scientists, engineers, aquaculture industry suppliers, regulators and investors to communicate progress on the technical, biological and economic feasibility of culturing fish – particularly salmon – to post-smolt or market size in closed-containment systems using floating or recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology. These international summits have been hosted by The Conservation Fund's Freshwater Institute, Tides Canada, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the Atlantic Salmon Federation.

This year's event will cover topics ranging from investment and economics of land-based aquaculture, industry innovations in closed-containment systems, effective market messages, the latest technology and husbandry research, and much more.

Featured speakers include:
  • Tone Bjørstad Hanstad, DNB Markets
  • Frode Mathisen, Grieg Seafood
