As the Fund’s Vice President of Real Estate for the Midwest, Tom Duffus leads land conservation efforts across a sprawling geography, including iconic features such as the Great Lakes and the upper Mississippi and Missouri rivers. Tom sets his conservation goals as big as the landscape around him: in one recent Minnesota effort, he led the Fund’s protection of 188,000 acres. In his free time, he can often be found sailing on the Maine Coast or Lake Superior. Tom holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies/Geology from St. Lawrence University and a Master of Forest Science degree from Yale University.
