Ole AmundsenOle helps partners articulate their conservation vision, expand their available financial resources and think strategically. As a national expert with 24 years of experience and skills in finance, real estate and conservation, Ole provides guidance on approaches to public vs. private financing, fundraising and policy development for the conservation community. He also provides a range of technical assistance to partners including strategic planning, climate adaptation approaches and food security methods. He is approved to work on accreditation issues by the Land Trust Alliance.

Ole has contributed to the Land Trust Alliance’s standards and practices and is the author of the leading book on land trust planning, “Strategic Conservation Planning.” As a reflective practitioner, he shares his knowledge and serves on the faculty of Cornell University, the Land Trust Alliance and the Conservation Leadership Network. He holds a B.A. from Colby College and an M.S. in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
