Associate Director, Resourceful Communities


Kathleen MarksKathleen administers Resourceful Communities’ small grants program. In addition to project development and management, she writes grants, raises funds, and manages communications with a range of partners. She has developed a broad understanding of challenges facing rural areas and believes our natural resources provide infrastructure for vital, healthy communities.

Kathleen holds a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has worked as an educator, landscaper and environmental hazard clean-up crew member.
