Jason Johnson

South Carolina State Director, Conservation Acquisition

Jason leads The Conservation Fund’s efforts across South Carolina, specializing in land conservation. Based in Indian Land, he has helped protect more than 75,000 acres of state parks, national wildlife refuges, state wildlife management areas and other special places across the state.

Since 2006, Jason has also worked with the Midlands Area Joint Installation Consortium to establish buffers around South Carolina military bases, including Shaw Air Force Base and the Army’s Fort Jackson. Previously, he worked in commercial real estate brokerage in the Charlotte region.

Jason holds a B.S. in Biology from Appalachian State University.
