Scott M. Tsukuda is the Director of Operations for the Freshwater Institute. He has worked with the Freshwater Institute since 1996, originally starting as a Research Associate. Scott holds a Masters of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Engineering, also from Cornell. He has past certifications as an MCSE, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and he is currently a CEM, Certified Energy Manager.
His current area of work includes research on energy monitoring and auditing. Some of his past work has included MS Excel computer modeling, PLC programming, denitrification technologies and alternative waste treatment systems demonstration. He is a member of the Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society (ISA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
