The Conservation Fund and the National Town Builders Association are leading the effort to demonstrate a new standard of excellence for conservation development by creating desirable communities linked to outstanding conservation outcomes.
The primary goal of the partnership is to develop projects that define the highest quality of conservation development through the use of traditional neighborhood development techniques, thereby creating desirable and successful new communities in which compact development patterns are joined with permanent conservation and stewardship of significant land and water resources.
Model projects will produce the following results:
Result 1: Outstanding Conservation
Result 2: Permanent Stewardship
Result 3: Successful Development
Result 4: Natural Connections
