Knoxville Ranch, CA

In partnership with the Napa County Land Trust, the Fund helped the California Department of Fish and Game acquire the 8,000-acre Knoxville Ranch, preserving habitat for bear, deer and ringtail cat at the heart of the 300,000-acre Blue Ridge Berryessa Natural Conservation Area. Funding was provided by the Wildlife Conservation Board, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, The San Francisco Foundation and the Elizabeth and Stephen Bechtel, Jr. Foundation.
