Mosquito Creek Wildlife Management Area, OH

At the request of Ohio’s Division of Wildlife, the Fund secured a 490-acre property in Trumbull County’s 8,500-acre Mosquito Creek Wildlife Management Area, one of the state's most popular hunting and fishing destinations and just an hour's drive from Youngstown and Cleveland. The acquisition builds on a strong five-year partnership between the Fund and the state agency. This partnership has protected almost 50,000 acres of public recreation lands and wildlife habitat in Ohio—nearly half of all wildlife management lands managed by the state.
