Confluence Greenway, MO

Extending from the Gateway Arch in St. Louis to the Mississippi River’s junction with the Missouri and Illinois rivers, the Confluence Greenway is envisioned as a 40-mile riverside recreation and conservation area. The Fund is helping local nonprofits secure sites along the greenway, including the Chain of Rocks Bridge. The greenway will include interpretive signs to commemorate the voyage of Lewis and Clark, which launched from St. Louis in 1804.
