Greenway Grants Online
Applications due June 15.
 Apply online for Kodak American Greenway grants to be awarded this fall. Eastman Kodak, the National Geographic Society and The Conservation Fund sponsor the program, which has awarded more than 630 grants—ranging from $500 to $2,500—since 1993. Read more »
A New Day at Silver Lake
The Fund celebrates the conservation of its 6 millionth acre.
 The public will soon be able to paddle, watch birds and fish at Silver Lake, thanks to The Conservation Fund’s purchase of 8,430 acres from International Paper.
With support from the state of Georgia and other public and private funders, the acquisition will protect forest habitat for endangered red-cockaded woodpecker and wood stork, threatened eastern indigo snake and other wildlife. The project is also a landmark for The Conservation Fund, achieving its 6 millionth acre of protected land.

Saving Paper, Saving Wetlands
Ameriprise Financial honors clients who go paperless with a gift for conservation.
 With a $200,000 gift to The Conservation Fund, Ameriprise Financial recognized and celebrated clients who are supporting environmental awareness by selecting paperless delivery of financial documents. The company’s gift will help protect more than 7,200 acres of cypress and tupelo wetlands outside of New Orleans. Read more »
