In July 2013, Good Earth State Park became the first state park in South Dakota in more than 40 years. Visitors can currently enjoy nature hikes on the property but the state has plans to build a visitor center that will share cultural and educational information about the rich history of the land and the peoples who lived there. Visit the park website for more information.
